JOB SUMMARY
Reading diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
Installing machinery and mechanical equipment using hand and power tools
Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions
Adjusting machinery and repairing or replacing defective parts
Operating machine tools to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery
Ensuring operating safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications and installations
Keeping detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
Cleaning, lubricating and performing other routine maintenance work on machinery
Maintaining a clean and environmentally safe work area
Review and interpret engineering specifications, schematics, and blueprints to determine work procedures
Transfer equipment to the applicable site for maintenance to avoid contamination or safety hazards

The warehouses/greenhouses may be hot, humid or cold at any time of the year.
The greenhouse environment may have bees, bugs, and pests
Working both independently and with a team
Ability to communicate with all organizational levels is essential
