JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead daily packhouse operations in a fast-paced CEA environment. This role is responsible for meeting production targets, maintaining quality standards, and supporting basic equipment upkeep to minimize downtime.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITES
Supervise daily packing operations (receiving, grading, packing, shipping)
Lead, train, and support packhouse staff
Ensure production targets, quality standards, and food safety requirements (HACCP/GMP) are met
Monitor workflow, staffing, and productivity
Enforce health & safety procedures and company policies
Maintain accurate production records
Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and assist with basic maintenance
Coordinate with maintenance team for repairs and preventative work
WORKPLACE CONDITIONS
Fast-paced, production-driven packhouse environment
Standing and walking for extended periods
Exposure to varying temperatures and humidity typical of greenhouse/packhouse operations
Frequent lifting, bending, and handling of produce
Use of machinery and equipment requiring adherence to safety protocols
Availability to work shifts, weekends, and peak seasonal hours as required
